“Two are better than one… If one of them falls down, the other can help him up.  But if someone is alone and falls, it’s just too bad because there’s no one to help him.” Eccl. 4:9-10

SUNDAYS HELP ME FOCUS ON MY COMMITMENTS.

THE BATTLE OF THE BRAINS

“Two are better than one… If one of them falls down, the other can help him up.  But if someone is alone and falls, it’s just too bad because there’s no one to help him.” Eccl. 4:9-10

“So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him. Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. ‘Let me kiss my father and mother goodbye,’ he said, ‘and then I will come with you.’ ‘Go back,’ Elijah replied. ‘What have I done to you?'” “He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.” 1Kings 19:19

And now one final thought…

“The love a man gives his wife is the extending of his love for himself to enfold her.”  Eph. 5:28b

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “These commandments impress them upon your children.  Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.”
