Daily Devotions – God Just Tell Me

God, Just Tell Me

Daily Devotional • Monday–Sunday

MONDAY — When God’s Will Isn’t Clear

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
When God’s will feels unclear, it’s not because He’s distant. Uncertainty often becomes the space where trust
grows.
Prompt: Where am I being invited to trust instead of understand?
Prayer: God, help me trust You when clarity feels distant.

TUESDAY — God’s Will Is Not a Feeling

“The heart is deceitful above all things.” — Jeremiah 17:9
Feelings shift constantly, but God’s will remains steady. He calls us to follow Him by faith, not emotion.
Prompt: How often do I let feelings guide decisions instead of faith?
Prayer: Lord, help me follow You faithfully, not emotionally.

WEDNESDAY — God’s Will Is Not a Formula

“God has invited you into a wonderful friendship with His Son.” — 1 Corinthians 1:9
There is no shortcut to discovering God’s will. It’s found through relationship, not formulas or checklists.
Prompt: Am I seeking answers more than closeness with Jesus?
Prayer: Jesus, help me value friendship with You over certainty.

THURSDAY — Don’t Be Fatalistic

“If anyone chooses to do God’s will, he will find out…” — John 7:17
God’s will involves our choices. Faith is active, not passive. God invites us to participate through obedience.
Prompt: What step of obedience is God asking me to choose?
Prayer: God, help me choose faithfulness over passivity.

FRIDAY — Don’t Be Fearful

“I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
Fear distorts our view of God’s will. His plans flow from love, not harm.
Prompt: What fear is limiting my trust in God?
Prayer: Father, replace my fear with confidence in Your love.

SATURDAY — Don’t Be Frustrated

“In all things God works for the good of those who love Him.” — Romans 8:28
God’s will unfolds over time. Frustration fades when we trust His process.
Prompt: Where do I need patience instead of pressure?
Prayer: Lord, help me trust Your timing and process.

SUNDAY — One Step at a Time

“Without faith it is impossible to please God…” — Hebrews 11:6
God rarely shows the whole plan. He invites us to take the next faithful step.
Prompt: What is the next faithful step God is asking me to take?
Prayer: God, I trust You with my next step.
