Daily Devotions – God Just Tell Me

God, Just Tell Me

Daily Devotional • Monday–Sunday

MONDAY — When God’s Will Isn’t Clear

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
When God’s will feels unclear, it’s not because He’s distant. Uncertainty often becomes the space where trust
grows.
Prompt: Where am I being invited to trust instead of understand?
Prayer: God, help me trust You when clarity feels distant.

TUESDAY — God’s Will Is Not a Feeling

“The heart is deceitful above all things.” — Jeremiah 17:9
Feelings shift constantly, but God’s will remains steady. He calls us to follow Him by faith, not emotion.
Prompt: How often do I let feelings guide decisions instead of faith?
Prayer: Lord, help me follow You faithfully, not emotionally.

WEDNESDAY — God’s Will Is Not a Formula

“God has invited you into a wonderful friendship with His Son.” — 1 Corinthians 1:9
There is no shortcut to discovering God’s will. It’s found through relationship, not formulas or checklists.
Prompt: Am I seeking answers more than closeness with Jesus?
Prayer: Jesus, help me value friendship with You over certainty.

THURSDAY — Don’t Be Fatalistic

“If anyone chooses to do God’s will, he will find out…” — John 7:17
God’s will involves our choices. Faith is active, not passive. God invites us to participate through obedience.
Prompt: What step of obedience is God asking me to choose?
Prayer: God, help me choose faithfulness over passivity.

FRIDAY — Don’t Be Fearful

“I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
Fear distorts our view of God’s will. His plans flow from love, not harm.
Prompt: What fear is limiting my trust in God?
Prayer: Father, replace my fear with confidence in Your love.

SATURDAY — Don’t Be Frustrated

“In all things God works for the good of those who love Him.” — Romans 8:28
God’s will unfolds over time. Frustration fades when we trust His process.
Prompt: Where do I need patience instead of pressure?
Prayer: Lord, help me trust Your timing and process.

SUNDAY — One Step at a Time

“Without faith it is impossible to please God…” — Hebrews 11:6
God rarely shows the whole plan. He invites us to take the next faithful step.
Prompt: What is the next faithful step God is asking me to take?
Prayer: God, I trust You with my next step.

Weekly Devotion – Have Some Fun

🌞 HAVE SOME FUN

A Monday–Sunday Daily Devotional

MONDAY — Living, Not Waiting to Live

Scripture:
“So I recommend having fun… there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life.”
— Ecclesiastes 8:15

Reflection:
Many people spend life waiting—waiting for retirement, waiting for things to slow down, waiting for happiness to finally arrive. Ecclesiastes reminds us that joy isn’t postponed; it’s practiced. God invites us to enjoy life now, even while we work hard and carry responsibility. Joy doesn’t cancel the grind—it accompanies it.

Prompt:
Where have I been waiting to live instead of choosing joy today?

Prayer:
God, help me stop postponing joy. Teach me to enjoy the life You’ve given me right now.

TUESDAY — This Is the Day

Scripture:
“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
— Psalm 118:24

Reflection:
Joy is not tied to tomorrow or yesterday—it’s rooted in today. This day is not random or accidental; it is a gift from God. Rejoicing is not denial of difficulty—it’s a declaration of trust. When we rejoice, we choose gratitude over grumbling and presence over pressure.

Prompt:
What would it look like to intentionally rejoice today?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for this day. Help me rejoice in it, no matter what it holds.

WEDNESDAY — Fun Is Intentional

Scripture:
“…not in a dogged religious plodding, but in a living, spirited dance.”
— 1 Thessalonians 4:1 (MSG)

Reflection:
Joy doesn’t happen by accident—it’s chosen. Paul reminds us that following God isn’t meant to feel like joyless drudgery. God invites us into a “living, spirited dance.” Fun requires intention. If we don’t plan for joy, life will crowd it out.

Prompt:
What joyful practice do I need to intentionally build into my week?

Prayer:
God, free me from joyless routines. Teach me to follow You with energy, delight, and intention.

THURSDAY — Fun Is Spiritual

Scripture:
“A happy heart is good medicine… but a broken spirit dries up the bones.”
— Proverbs 17:22

Reflection:
Joy is not shallow—it’s spiritual. Scripture tells us that joy heals. Laughter strengthens. Delight restores. When we ignore joy, our souls dry out. God cares deeply about your emotional and spiritual health, and joy is one of His prescriptions.

Prompt:
How has joy—or the lack of it—affected my spiritual health lately?

Prayer:
Lord, restore my joy. Heal my heart and refresh my spirit.

FRIDAY — The Discipline of Celebration

Scripture:
“Enjoy your good food and wine… Don’t be sad! This is a special day for the Lord.”
— Nehemiah 8:10

Reflection:
Celebration is not indulgence—it’s obedience. God commanded His people to feast, celebrate, and share. Celebration reminds us that God is generous and that joy strengthens us. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is celebrate what God has already done.

Prompt:
What blessing from God do I need to celebrate instead of overlook?

Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your generosity. Teach me to celebrate with gratitude and humility.

SATURDAY — Fun Is Relational

Scripture:
“…feast there in the presence of the Lord your God and celebrate with your household.”
— Deuteronomy 14:26

Reflection:
Joy multiplies when it’s shared. God designed fun to be relational—around tables, conversations, laughter, and memories. Isolation drains joy; connection restores it. Shared joy strengthens families, friendships, and faith communities.

Prompt:
Who can I intentionally share joy with today?

Prayer:
God, deepen my relationships. Help me bring joy into the lives of others.

SUNDAY — Fun Is Attractive

Scripture:
“You have filled my heart with greater joy…”
— Psalm 4:7

Reflection:
Joy is one of the most powerful witnesses of faith. People are drawn to lives marked by genuine joy, not forced smiles. When we live joyfully, we reflect the goodness of God. Fun doesn’t distract from faith—it displays it.

Prompt:
What does my joy—or lack of it—communicate about God to others?

Prayer:
Lord, let my joy point others to You. May my life reflect Your goodness and grace.

Weekly Takeaway

Joy is not accidental.
Fun is intentional.
Fun is spiritual.
Fun is relational.
Fun is attractive.

And this is the day the Lord has made—let’s rejoice and be glad in it.

Weekly Devotion – Build The Boat

FINISH STRONG TO BEGIN NEW

A 7-Day Devotional Journey

MONDAY — LOOKING BACK WITH GRATITUDE

Scripture: Psalm 103:2
“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”

Devotional Thought:
Before you rush into what’s next, pause and look back—not with guilt, but with gratitude. Even in the hardest seasons, God was present. Gratitude shifts our focus from what went wrong to how God carried us through.

You may not celebrate everything that happened this year, but you can thank God for His faithfulness in it. Gratitude is the first step toward finishing strong.

Reflection Question:
Where did I see God’s faithfulness this past year, even in difficult moments?

Prayer:
Lord, help me see this past year through Your eyes. Thank You for carrying me, teaching me, and sustaining me. Amen.

TUESDAY — LETTING GO

Scripture: Hebrews 12:1
“Let us throw off everything that hinders…”

Devotional Thought:
Not everything belongs in the next season. Some burdens were never meant to be carried this far. Guilt, resentment, fear, and unrealistic expectations will only slow you down.

Letting go isn’t weakness—it’s obedience. God invites you to travel lighter so you can move forward stronger.

Reflection Question:
What am I still carrying that God is asking me to release?

Prayer:
God, give me the courage to let go of what no longer belongs in my life. I trust You with what I release. Amen.

WEDNESDAY — FINISHING FAITHFUL

Scripture: Galatians 6:9
“Let us not grow weary in doing good…”

Devotional Thought:
Faithfulness rarely feels glamorous. It looks like consistency, obedience, and perseverance when no one is applauding. If you stayed faithful—even quietly—you finished stronger than you think.

God honors faithfulness, not flash. And He sees every step you took.

Reflection Question:
Where have I remained faithful, even when it felt unnoticed?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for seeing what others may not. Help me remain faithful, trusting You with the results. Amen.

THURSDAY — ON PURPOSE

Scripture: Proverbs 16:3
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do…”

Devotional Thought:
New beginnings don’t happen by accident. They happen when we choose direction over drift. God isn’t asking for perfect plans—He’s asking for surrendered steps.

One intentional decision today can shape the entire year ahead.

Reflection Question:
What is one intentional step God is calling me to take next?

Prayer:
God, I commit my plans to You. Order my steps and guide my decisions. Amen.

FRIDAY — HOPE AHEAD

Scripture: Isaiah 43:19
“See, I am doing a new thing!”

Devotional Thought:
Hope doesn’t ignore reality—it trusts God in it. Even if you can’t see what’s ahead, God already can. The future isn’t uncertain to Him.

Hope grows when we remember that God goes before us.

Reflection Question:
Where do I need to replace fear with trust today?

Prayer:
Lord, remind me that You are already ahead of me. Fill my heart with hope for what’s coming. Amen.

SATURDAY — STILL STANDING

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:8–9
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed…”

Devotional Thought:
If you’re still standing, God is still working. Survival itself is evidence of grace. Strength isn’t always about conquering—it’s about enduring.

Celebrate the fact that you’re here. God hasn’t finished with you yet.

Reflection Question:
How has God strengthened me in ways I didn’t recognize?

Prayer:
God, thank You for sustaining me. Renew my strength and prepare me for what’s next. Amen.

SUNDAY — ALREADY THERE

Scripture: Revelation 21:5
“He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’”

Devotional Thought:
God isn’t waiting for the new year to start working—He’s already there. Every ending becomes sacred when we trust God with the beginning.

Step forward today knowing you don’t walk alone. The God who carried you here will lead you forward.

Reflection Question:
What does it look like to step into the future trusting God fully?

Prayer:
Lord, I step into the new season trusting You. Thank You for going before me and walking with me. Amen.

Christmas Eve Service Bulletin

Weekly Devotional – A Charlie Brown Christmas Part Two

🎄 A Charlie Brown Christmas

Monday–Sunday Devotional

MONDAY — Are You Charlie Brown?

Scripture:
The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” — John 1:14

Reflection:
Charlie Brown feels overwhelmed, unseen, and unsure. Many of us enter December the same way. But the message of Christmas is simple: God came close. He stepped into our real lives—not the polished version, but the messy one. When life feels confusing, Jesus draws near.

Prompt:
Where do I feel overwhelmed this week, and how can I invite Jesus into it?

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for coming close. Meet me where I feel most like Charlie Brown.

TUESDAY — When Joy Feels Hard to Find

Scripture:
Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…” — Matthew 6:19–21

Reflection:
Charlie Brown couldn’t find joy because he was surrounded by distractions. Chase what shines, and you’ll miss what saves. Christmas joy is not found in things, but in Christ. When your heart focuses on heaven, your joy returns.

Prompt:
What shiny distractions compete for my attention this week?

Prayer:
Lord, shift my focus from what glitters to what matters.

WEDNESDAY — Are You Snoopy? (Commercialism’s Trap)

Scripture:
Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21

Reflection:
Snoopy entered his doghouse in a Christmas decorating contest. He wasn’t trying to celebrate—he was trying to impress. Commercialism promises joy but produces distraction. When we chase the spotlight, our hearts drift from Jesus.

Prompt:
Am I decorating my “life” to impress or to honor God?

Prayer:
God, guard my heart from chasing applause. Help me treasure You above everything else.

THURSDAY — Are You Lucy? (Becoming More Than Buying)

Scripture:
Do not store up treasures on earth…” — Matthew 6:19

Reflection:
Lucy wants status—leadership, recognition, and control. Her Christmas becomes about becoming important rather than becoming loving. But Christmas isn’t about what you buy or achieve—it’s about who you are becoming in Christ.

Prompt:
Where is God calling me to become more loving, gentle, or patient?

Prayer:
Lord, form my character this season. Make me more like Jesus, not more like Lucy.

FRIDAY — Slow Down Before You Miss What’s Right in Front of You

Scripture:
The Word became flesh…” — John 1:14

Reflection:
Don’t let the noise of Christmas around you make you miss the Savior right in front of you. Slow down. Look up. God is moving in the small moments—conversations, quiet mornings, simple joys—just like Charlie Brown discovered when the little tree began to shine.

Prompt:
What noise do I need to quiet today in order to notice God’s presence?

Prayer:
Jesus, help me slow down and see You clearly.

SATURDAY — The Gift of Being Still (Family Activity)

Scripture:
Be still and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Reflection:
Being by water—like a lake—brings calm, clarity, and connection. Studies show it reduces stress, improves sleep, boosts immunity, and enhances mental health. God often speaks when we are still enough to listen.

Family Activity:
Take 5 minutes together outdoors or by a quiet window.
Each person shares:
“What simple thing has helped me feel close to God this season?”

Prompt:
What stillness can I practice today?

Prayer:
Lord, quiet my soul. Bring peace to me and my family.

SUNDAY — Becoming Who God Created You to Be

Scripture:
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21

Reflection:
Christmas shapes who we become. Become attentive, not distracted. Become peaceful, not hurried. Become compassionate, not commercial. The world may chase what shines—but we are called to follow what saves.

Prompt:
Who does Jesus want me to become this Christmas?

Prayer:
Father, shape my heart today. Help me become the person You desire me to be.
